Charles Silkoff

Charles Silkoff of Orange, beloved husband of Blanche (Spector) Silkoff died at Connecticut Hospice on March 19, 2010.  Born in Hamden November 9, 1916, he was the son of the late Abraham and Rebecca Silkoff. Father of Alan (Cheryl) Silkoff of Easton, CT and West Palm Beach, Fla, Lynne (Lester) Klein of Silver Spring, MD and Richard (Lori) Silkoff of Cheshire, CT.  Also survived by 6 grandchildren: Robyn, David, Ian, Hedda, Mara and Jesse.  Charles was the founder and owner of Bond Dinettes in Orange, Newington and Norwalk for 35 years.  He was also a brother of Cosmopolitan Masonic Lodge 125 in New Haven.
Funeral will be held graveside at B’nai Jacob Memorial Park, Wintergreen Avenue, New Haven at 2:00 p.m. Sunday March 21.  Family will receive friends and relatives during the period of mourning following the service on Sunday through 9:00 p.m.  at 2 Red Oak Place, Cheshire,CT. Memorial contributions may be made to  the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut, 2911 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden CT 06518 or Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT  06405.
