To the Berg and Golden Family

Despite not having known Joseph Berg, we feel indebted to him for bringing us David, with whom both Oliver and I share a special bond as result of our time in New Haven and at Yale. We want to express our deepest condolences to the family during this time, which we understand is not only a period of mourning and loss, but also a celebration of life. Sending bear hugs and the scent of warm chocolate chip oatmeal cookies across all the big square states between you and us!

    Peggy and Oliver

Although I did not know Joseph Berg directly; my touchpoint comes through a connection with his son David, for whom the New Haven community is grateful. And for this reason, I wish to express my regards to the family for your loss. May God’s blessings of peace be with you at this time.

    God Bless you,
Kenn Harris, The Community Foundation/New Haven Healthy Start
