Alan Goldberg of Hamden, CT died Saturday January 2, 2016 at Midstate Medical Center in Meriden, CT. He was the husband of Alicia Bonnie (Gorfain) Goldberg. He was born in New Haven, CT, on June 21, 1938, son of late Samuel and Mary Goldberg. He held degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, in Computer Science, and Master Degrees from the University of Hartford, in Business and Southern Connecticut State University, in Political Science. He was an information systems analyst for Pratt and Whitney for 40 years. He is survived by his grandchildren: Kiera, Meghan, Brendan, Emma, Tristan, and Peyton Grove of Potomac Falls, Virginia, Joshua Grove of Rye Brook, NY, as well as his brother Jerry Goldberg of Sacramento, California.
Funeral services were held Tuesday with interment in the Mishkan Israel Cemetery, Jewell St., New Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Baptist Nursing Home, 292 Thorpe Avenue, Meriden, CT. 06450.
