Alan Klotz, 68, of Orange, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2010. Beloved husband of Naomi (Levine) Klotz. Father of Jessica Klotz and Samantha (Klotz) Juni. Grandfather of Isaac and Gabriel Juni. Brother-in-law of Linda, Edwin, and Keith Levine. Prior to retiring, Alan was a nuclear health physicist with Northeast Utilities. An avid advocate for environmental preservation. His family and friends will miss him deeply and will never forget his love and commitment to them and to his principles. Funeral service at Temple Emanuel, 150 Derby Ave., Orange, CT Sunday at 1:pm. The interment in United Hebrew Cemetery, Staten Island, NY will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Nature Conservancy.
