Barry Ward, 74, a Guilford, CT resident passed on October 29, 2025 his loving family with him.  He grew up in Revere, MA and graduated from Huntington School in Boston.  Subsequently, he graduated from Franklin Marshall College in Lancaster, PA with a degree in history and Boston College with a JD.  He practiced law at his firm in New London, CT for over forty years.

Barry loved the Boston Red Sox and was an avid fantasy baseball player. He read several hours a day and walked several miles most days. Each morning he listened to a different genre of music.

Rabbi Brockman who officiated at Barry's burial aptly summarized his eulogies: he was a character with character.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Ward of Guilford, CT and his step family, Elizabeth, Peter and Petey Barile of Fairfield, CT and his brother Gary Ward of Punta Gorda, FL.  He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews: Lisa Beatini of Saugus, Ma, Jason Ward of Plainville, MA. Joseph Ward of Revere, MA and their Mother Marie Ward of Revere, MA; Jeremy, Zachary and Ashley Ward of Revere, MA, Victoria Ward of Lynn, MA, and Michelle D'Amico of Saugus, MA. He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Sylvia Ward, brother Martin and his sister Beverly; all from Revere, MA.
