Bella (Shafer) Braverman, 92, of Arden House in Hamden, died on Oct. 22, 2012. Born Oct. 30, 1919, she was the youngest child of Jacob and Bessie Shafer of New Haven. She is survived by her daughters, Mara Braverman of West Hartford and Janet Teller ofHamden, her son-in-law Stephen Teller, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Braverman, and her daughter, Loran Braverman.

Graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. at Mishkan Israel Cemetery, Jewell St., New Haven. The period of mourning will be private.
