Edna Edith Cole, 95 years old, of Hamden and North Haven ,Connecticut passed away peacefully on August 7, 2016.  She was born December 8, 1921 to the late Jenny and Solomon Rudnick.  She is predeceased by her husband, George Cole and five siblings Norma Gurian and Stanley, Harold, Jerold and Arnold Rudnick.  She was the beloved mother of Stephen (Kathleen) Cole and Sandra Zillas.   Her grandchildren are Damien Zillas (Lynn Krag), Johannah Guilette (Greg), Benjamin Cole and Ian Cole.  Her great grandchildren are Lucian Zillas, Calder Zillas and Kennedy Guilette.  Edna was the proprietor of the Mart Beauty Salon in Hamden for many years before her retirement.
