Edward D. Jacobs, 76, passed away June 19, 2015 in Branford, CT.  He was born in Cologne, Germany in 1938 and escaped from there during the Holocaust.  Eventually he settled in Cheshire, CT where he lived for over 50 years. Ed graduated from University of Connecticut with a BS in Business and with a law degree from Boston University.  He practiced law since 1964 and was a Partner at Jacobs and Rozich.

His greatest pleasure in the world was being with his family.  He is survived by his loving wife, Willa Jacobs.  He was also the proud father of David (Ileen) and Jeffrey (Laura) Jacobs, and the devoted and caring grandfather to Kolton, Emelia, Caroline and Lindsey Jacobs.

Funeral services were held at Temple Beth David in Cheshire on Friday, June 26th. The interment was in the Temple Beth David section of Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Cheshire, CT. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 27th from 1-5pm at their home at 5 Burning Tree Place, Cheshire, CT.   Memorial contributions may be made to The Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT 06405.
