Edward M Messer, 90, of 20 Spector Road Woodbridge, CT passed away November 18, 2010 at his family's home  after years of living with Alzheimer's Disease. Ed leaves his adoring wife of 64 years, Carol, daughter Jane Messer and her children Robert, Suzanne, and Marisa with whom he lived and a daughter Karen Messer, her husband Bill Watters, their children Michael and David, and many devoted friends. The world was a better place having had this generous humanitarian of great integrity.  He will be greatly missed.

Funeral service will be held at the Weller Funeral Home, 493 Whitney Ave., New Haven Sunday afternoon at 3 pm. The interment will be in the United Israel Cemetery, Jewell St., New Haven. A reception to celebrate Ed's life will be held at Woodbridge Country Club immediately following the cemetery.
