Ellen Bell passed away peacefully December 18, 2015. Her beloved husband Robert Bell predeceased her 13 years ago. She is survived by her loving sons Steven and Jeffrey, her sister Karen Dabby, sister-in-law Phylis Loeb, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was a much loved woman with a lively sense of humor and a generous, warm heart. She was a pioneer in the field of working with autistic children and edited scholarly books on the subject. We will all miss her very much.
Funeral service at the Temple Beth Tikvah, 196 Durham Rd., Madison, CT. Sunday afternoon at 2: pm. The interment will be in the Temple Beth Tikvah section of Beaverbrook Cemetery, Rt. 145, Clinton, CT.
