Eric Charles Lehman of Bethany, Connecticut, died on Tuesday July 10, 2018 surrounded by his family and friends after a long fight with liver cancer. Born on December 19, 1951, he was the son of Ann P. Lehman and the late Albert P. Lehman. Eric leaves behind two loving daughters, Becky and Lucy, his mother, Ann, his brother, Peter (Ann Wynne), and joins his late sister, Eve Perkins (David Perkins). Eric graduated from the University of New Hampshire before volunteering with the Peace Corps in Costa Rica. He was a devoted horseman, avid botanist, and president of the Bethany Horsemen's Association, which was founded by his grandfather, Nathan Podoloff. Eric's care and love for his natural environment extended easily to his friends and family, and his tenderness and compassion will be missed by all.

There will be a memorial celebration at the Lehman home: 8 Carrington Rd., Bethany, on Sunday, August 19 at 2:00 pm.
