Eve Lehman Perkins, 53, died surrounded by her family and her dog Dazey at home in Short Beach, Branford on Sunday, May 24th after a battle with ovarian cancer.
She is survived by her loving  husband, David C. Perkins; daughters Sarah and Eliza and brothers Eric and Peter (Ann Wynne).  Eve was the daughter of Ann P. Lehman and the late Albert P. Lehman of Bethany.  Eve and her husband both graduated from Beloit College.

For years, she worked in clay as a potter before becoming a guiding force at the family printing and engraving business; Lehman Brothers.  Eve was loved in the Short Beach community, and was a leader in Branford politics.  Her caregiving personality, commitment to public service and infectous laugh will be missed by all.

There will be a memorial celebration at the Lehman home: 8 Carrington Rd., Bethany, on Sunday, June 21 at 2:00 pm.
