Florence Rice, 64, of New Haven passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2014. Florrie was born in New Haven and lived her entire life in New Haven and Milford. Before she retired, Florrie for many years had been a travel specialist with the American Automobile Association. Her last years were spent with the loving residents and staff at the Parents Foundation for Transitional Living. Florrie was predeceased by her mother and father, Lillian and Milton Rice of New Haven. Florrie is survived by her brother, Sheldon Rice, and her niece, Zoe Rice, both of Brooklyn, New York, her aunt and uncle, Jack and Nancy Talsky of Pompano Beach, Florida, and her cousins Susan Talsky Paster and Emily Talsky Barbato.
