On April 13, 2013 Helen Benzel  beloved wife of Morton Benzel (deceased) passed away at age 90. She and her husband opened Benzel's  pharmacy in Hamden and later started the Windsor Shoppe in North Haven. Helen was adored for her loving nature, her generosity and her devotion to family and friends. She will be missed by her four sons, Gary (and Martha) Benzel  of Shelton CT, Robert (and Sylvia) Benzel of Columbus OH, Rick Benzel of Los Angeles CA and William (and Julie Benzel) of Castle Rock CO; seven grandchildren (Debbie, Joel, Rebecca, Reuben, Sarah, Joseph and Danny and two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Hailey).
