Helene (Penny) Mirky Causgrove passed away on Wednesday March 23, 2016. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Caumsgrove. Born in New Haven April 23, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Hyman and Ann Marinoff Mirsky. Beloved Mother of Kathleen Causgrove-Flanagan and her husband Robert E. Flanagan. Penny as she was know graduated from Commercial High School in 1937. She was employed for the City of New Haven and she was the Sealer of Weights and Measures, until her retirement. She worked for the City of New Haven for 32 years. She volunteered at Yale-New Haven Hospital for over twenty years. She was predeceased by her sister Elizabeth (Aunt Betty) Thorn. Penny was a avid Red Sox Fan.
Graveside funeral service will be held today, (Thursday), 11:am at the Beaverdale Memorial Park, Fitch St., New Haven.
