Ida Ammerman, 100 of 206 Church St., West Haven died January 14, 2011. She was the widow of Alexander Ammerman and is survived by a son Dr. Richard Ammerman of Reston, VA, a daughter Susan Aaronson of Branford, CT, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers Edward and Harry Castroll and a sister Edith Castroll. Graveside funeral service at the Congregation Sinai Memorial Park, Farwell ST., Allingtown, West Haven, Sunday afternoon at 1. Period of mourning will be private.
