Obituary

Jack Martin Kirschenbaum, survived by loving wife, Frances Engel Kirschenbaum, passed away on April 16, 2016. Raised in Brooklyn, Jack was the son of the late Rose Kirschenbaum and Max Kirschenbaum. As a Navy Seabees veteran of World War II , Jack honored his family and his country with his service and patriotism. After the war, Jack married Frances and became parents to Lisa Kirschenbaum Kandrach and Peter Kirschenbaum, settling their family in Orange, CT. Jack was the proud grandfather to Melissa Kandrach, Samuel Kirschenbaum and Andrew Kirschenbaum. Jack was also blessed with a loving daughter-in-law, Christine Kirschenbaum and supportive son-in-law, John Kandrach. Jack was a tender-hearted family man with selfless intentions. He expressed his intelligence through his witty humor and his keen attention to current events, sports, and technology. His family loved him dearly and they will always appreciate his involvement, work ethic and kindness. Jack could often be found rooting on the Mets, taking pictures and enjoying Frank Sinatra's music. He touched all of our lives and will forever remain an emblem of honor as a great man, son, husband, father and grandfather.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside service at Beaverdale Memorial Park, 90 Pine Rock Ave. New Haven, CT 06515 on Monday, April 18th at 12:30pm and to pay their respects at the home of Peter and Christine Kirschenbaum at 49 Carew Rd.
