Julie Block Jacobs, 84 of Orange, CT died January 24, 2017 after a long Illness. She was born in Cardenas, Cuba February 14, 1932, daughter of the late Benjamin and Sara Bender Block. She moved to Connecticut in 1958. She is survived by two sons Barry M. (Lisa) Jacobs and Andrew Jacobs, her beloved twin Ofelia Hodge (they called each other Nene), a grandson Charles Jacobs, three nieces Rachel, Shira and Deborah, two nephews Armando and David and grand nieces and nephews Sarah, Tal, Guy, Sharon, AJ and Joshua. She was predeceased by a brother Sayes Bender Block. Julie was a mother, entrepreneur and homemaker.
Graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, 11:30 am at the Beth Israel Cemetery, Lades Place, Shelton, CT. Shiva will be private.
