Julius I. Friedman died peacefully in his sleep on March 30, 2013, at the age of 99.  He is survived by his sons, Dr. Stanley Friedman (Roberta) of North Haven, and Dr. Edward Friedman of Boston; grandsons, David (Laure) Friedman and Marc (Elissa) Friedman; and great grandchildren, Aaron, Chloe, Lia and Hadley Friedman.  The funeral service was private.  Contributions in his memory may be made to Congregation Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Road, Hamden, CT. 06517.
