Marion Levine Perlroth died December 12, 2008 at the age of 96. A resident of Whitney Center in Hamden, CT she was born in Elmira, NY July 5. 1912 to the late Samuel and Esther Levine. She attended Smith College where she graduated Saludadictorian and worked with preschool children. She married then late William Samuel Perlroth on New Haven in 1937. Marion had one daughter, the late Diane Perlroth Levine. She is survived by her brother Sam Levine of Elmire, NY, son-in-law Bert Levine of Westport, grandson Stuart Levine and his wife Janine of White Plains, NY, granddaughter Alicia Haruska and her husband Jason of Belmont, MA and her beloved great-grandchildren Isabelle, Samuel and Sophia.
Graveside funeral service at the Mishkan Israel Cemetery, Jewell St., New Haven Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 12:Noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
