Mildred (Molly) Gimple Levine passed away on May 24, 2010.  She was the wife of the late Harold Levine, cherished mother of Sanford (Sandy and Arlene) Levine of Woodbridge, Mark (Sharon) Levine of Woodbridge, beloved grandmother of Matthew (Deanna) Levine of Cheshire and Heidi (Andy)Wildstein of Cheshire, Herschel Levine of  Massachusetts and Hadley Levine of Washington, D.C.. Molly had five great grandsons.  She is survived by her dear and devoted sister Ruth Shiffrin Blum of New Haven and her sisters-in-law Bea Gimbel of New Haven and Amelia Levine of Florida.  She was predeceased by brothers Harold Gimbel and Henry Gimbel.  Molly graduated from Griffin Hospital School of Nursing and did graduate nursing at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.  She was a geriatric nurse for many years and was the oldest nurse to serve at St. Regis Health Care Center in New Haven.

Funeral Serviuce at the B'nai Jacob Memorial Park, Wintergreen Avenue, New Haven on Wednesday morning at 11am. A period of mourning will be observed Wed and Thursday at 8 Dillon Rd., Woodbridge and on Friday and Sunday at 61 Northrop Rd., Woodbridge from 1-6. Memoral contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Weller Funeral Home, 493 Whitney Ave, New Haven, is in charge of arrangements.
