Obituary

Norman Gallin Liveten, 87 of New Haven, CT and Mill River, MA died March 22, 2010. He was born March 22, 1923, son of the late Isaac and Mary Gallin Liveten. He is survived by his wife Helen Zaientz Liveten, a son Andrew Robert Liveten and his wife Nancy Aubrey Liveten of Bethany, a daughter Sharon Beth Liveten of Los Angeles, CA and two grandsons Mark Aubrey Liveten and Peter Aubrey Liveten. He was predeceased by his brother and friend Benjamin David Liveten. He graduated the University of Virginia after serving in Africa and Italy during WW II. He was the owner and president of New Haven Plumbing and Heating Supply of New Haven and Standard Plumbing and Heating Supply of Meriden. He loved his family, his dogs and his collections.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, 11:AM at Congregation B'nai Jacob Synagogue, 75 Rimmon Rd, Woodbridge, CT. The Interment will be in the B'nai Jacob Cemetery, Jewell St., New Haven. Period of mourning will be observed through Saturday evening at 66 Carrington Rd., Bethany, CT.
