Paul Liebeskind, of Hamden, died May 18, 2014 at 89 years old.  Born in New Haven, he attended the Worthington Hooker Elementary School and Hillhouse High School, where he was a sprint champion. He graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  He served in the army during World War II, stationed in China and India.  He met and married Marilyn Fabricant of Madison.  He owned the Virginia Shop, a chain of women's clothing stores in New Haven, Madison and Milford.  He is survived by his children, Ken, Bill and Bob and by his grandchildren, Leo, Max and Maia.
