Ralph T. Tyler, Jr. of Wallingford, CT devoted husband to Brenda (Liebers Moore), passed away April 22, 2016 at home with his family by his side. Born in Rockville, CT he was the son of the late Ralph T. Tyler and Edith (Search) Tyler. Ralph is also survived by his son, Bryan Moore (Nicole) of Newtown, CT, sisters Carol Glancey (Michael) of Massachusetts and Margaret Citerone (Richard) of New Jersey, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mona and Peter Tenedine of North Haven, CT and mother-in-law Clara Liebers of Boynton Beach, FL as well as many nieces and nephews. He graduated with his bachelors and masters degree from UConn and went on to receive his MBA from Rensselaer Hartford Campus. He served 35 years for the State of Coneecticut and recently retired as Dean of Administration and Finance from Housatonic Community College, Bridgeport.

Service in the Weller Funeral Home, 493 Whitney Ave., New Haven Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm. The interment will be in the Grove Street Cemetery, 227 Grove St., New Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to either Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven Hospital in honor of his medical team and wonderful nursing care (medicine.yale.edu/cancer/gifts) or Connecticut Hospice, 110 Barnes Road Wallingford, CT 06492.
