Mrs. Roselyn Smernoff, born 1/11/27 in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Julius Sachs and Mini Rabinowitz-Sachs, passed peacefully in her home in Bethany,  May 9, 2015, with her loving daughter, Julia Oma Fusco (Tim) by her side.  She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Stephen David Smernoff. Besides her daughter, she also leaves grandchildren, Chelsea Sloan Fusco, Albert Stephen Fusco and Kelly Melissa Barker and four nieces. She was predeceased by brothers Nicholas (Lee) Sachs and Stanley (Beatrice) Sachs.

Funeral service and interment in the Mishkan Israel Cemetery will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Connecticut Humane Society or to Vitas Hospice.
