Sary (Medvedow) Aiden, 97, formerly of New Haven and Hamden, died Monday at The Jewish Home for the Elderly, Bridgeport, CT. Born in New Haven, April 1, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Gertrude (Rashin) Medvedow. She is survived by a daughter Edith (Dede) and Richard Lebov of Orange, CT., and two grandchildren Rachel and Daniel Lebov. She also leaves her devoted caregiver, Shana Curry of Bpt, CT. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth J. Aiden of Baltimore, MD, a brother, Leon A. Medvedow of Milford, CT, a sister Rhea Holtz of Westport, CT , and a grandson Kenneth P. Aiden of Baltimore, MD. She was a longtime employee of New Haven Redevelopment and volunteered for children at Worthington Hooker School in New Haven, CT. Graveside funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Beaverdale Memorial Park, Pine Rock Avenue, New Haven, CT. A period of Mourning will be observed at Dede and Richard Lebov's home following the services.
