Stanley Brumberger (94) of Wallingford, CT, passed away on June 23. He was born in Bronx, NY in September 1928 to the late Annie and Harry Brumberger, and was the loving husband of the late Madlyn De Stefano Brumberger of West Haven. He studied accounting at City College of NY and then enlisted in the Marines where he was trained as a wire specialist. After his discharge, Stan began an extensive management career at Robby Len Swimwear in New Haven, culminating in the position of Executive Vice President. He was an avid sailor and enjoyed his retirement years yachting and traveling with his beloved wife. Stan is survived by his daughter, Lori Lichtblau of Netanya, Israel, two granddaughters, Maayan and Yuval, and predeceased by his son, the late Jeffrey Brumberger MD of New Orleans. He is also survived by a devoted stepdaughter, Gina King and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. There will be a private graveside service and interment for family and close friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society.
