Sue Goodman, 82, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of New Haven and Woodbridge, CT died peacefully June 17, 2018. She was the beloved wife for 62 years, of Robert S. Goodman . Born in New Haven, CT, April 27, 1936, daughter of the late Samuel and Esther Lazaroff Yaffe. Sue graduated Temple University in1956, was a dental hygienist, owned a Diet Center franchise and took on numerous volunteer and community roles including the President of B'nai Jacob Sisterhood and volunteering at the New Haven Jewish Home for the Aged. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Donna Goodman of Boca Raton, FL, Tammy (Robert) Greenberg of Norwood, NJ and Scott Goodman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; four grandchildren, Stacey Lee, Lindsey Lee, Elliot Lee and Michael Greenberg, one great granddaughter, Emma Goodman Lee and her beloved brother, Harvey Yaffe of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Funeral service will be at Congregation B'nai Jacob Synagogue, 75 Rimmon Rd., Woodbridge, CT, Wednesday morning at 11. The interment will be in the B'nai Jacob Memorial Park, Wintergreen Ave., New Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
