Sylvia Sweedler died at Whitney Center on April 8, after a long illness. Sylvia, predeceased by her husband Paul, was a life long CT resident. She is survived by daughter Susan Ach and her husband Larry, son Steven, grandchildren Rachel, Ben, Caleb, Kate, and Jenny and great grandchildren Henry, Sam, August and Marigold. Sylvia was an avid tennis and bridge player, a long time member of the League of Women Voters and would have been appalled by the current political situation. A memorial service was held on April 10.
